Program Details
The Gateway Program of Rebuilding Together East Bay Network is designed to support older adults with being proactive while learning about the resources in their community.
A single free home visit with a Gateway Planner to look at your goals, needs, and challenges around issues of aging
Address current needs, mitigate barriers, and plan for the future
Reduce obstacles to promote a more positive aging experience
Improve the safety and accessibility in your home
Receive a binder of resources, along with a discussion of what resources may be helpful
For residents of Berkeley, Albany & Emeryville ages 60+ (Richmond to be available soon)
Program Process
We encourage Gateway applicants to also view our Safe at Home program to see if they are eligible for fully-subsidized home modifications and repairs. We conduct different procedures depending on program eligibility.

Conduct planning visit and assist with Safe at Home application
